A few years ago, we both had the idea to found a small film studio and just recently, with the foundation of Overcast Films, we did the first step to get one bit closer to our dream. Overcast Films is all about creating outstanding films as regards imagery and content of our screenplays, doing our utmost to combine these two factors of filmmaking ideally. Even though we practise a clear division of labour, we always go through every single step together before we come to a final decision.

Having said that, both of us direct our films together. Every idea for a new screenplay is being discussed until both of us are happy with it, the same goes for every shot and camera angle. Even though this can slow us down sometimes, we value the quality we get out of this more than just being quick.

Our main genre is the short film in both, serious and comedic style and we produce nearly without exception for internet-platforms like YouTube.
